Herminia's principal activities at this time were to design new insurance schemes, develop technical methods to establish the sales of these products and to work in the area of claims management. Her area of responsibility took her to all of the agricultural producing areas of Mexico including working with the specialty crops of the Bajio to the corn, soybean, and grain sorghum production areas in the north. Herminia attended the Universidad Autonma de Mexico with her thesis on Entomology and Forestry, studying the the Chapultepec Forest. She has also received a Master's Degree in Agricultural and Foresty in Entomology and Nematology at the Escuela Nacional de Ciencias Biologicas in IPN Mexico. In 1996 Herminia accepted a position with General de Seguros S.A.located in Hermosilio, Mexico. Her duties again focused on the development of products, policies, and loss adjusting procedures publishing manuals for all of these responsibilities. Products were developed for Corn, Broccoli, Tomatoes, Wheat, Beans and other crops of Sonora. Herminia accepted the challenge of working for Agro International in the spring of 1999 and has been a valuable addition to our company as she brings her significant knowledge of crop insurance to us with proven credentials as one who has worked to learn the programs, crops and all aspects of the field. She works closely with our client Seguros America on existing and new programs in both policies and claims. AGRO International
